Got Questions? We've Got Answers
How do updates work?
QuickLauncher includes an automatic background update engine. When a new version is released on GitHub, a badge appears in your menu bar. Clicking "Update Now & Restart" automatically downloads, replaces, and restarts the app in seconds.
Does QuickLauncher send any data to external servers?
None whatsoever. Your clipboard items, notes, and quick links are stored 100% locally on your Mac in your user Application Support directory. QuickLauncher contains zero analytics or telemetry tracking.
What macOS versions are supported?
QuickLauncher requires macOS 13.0 (Ventura) or newer, including macOS 14 (Sonoma) and macOS 15 (Sequoia). It runs natively on both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs.
Do I need Android Studio installed for ADB tools?
QuickLauncher detects ADB automatically from standard Homebrew paths (/opt/homebrew/bin/adb) or standard Android SDK platform-tools. If you don't use Android, the Android tools remain dormant with zero CPU impact.
